To be or not to be

Joel, 17 years old, tells his mother about his desire to move forward the mastectomy operation he wants to undergo by one year. She supports him in his decision, but the problem is that they don’t have enough money to pay for it. Joel has to get to work to get the operation at the end of the course without losing sight of his goal of training to become a good actor. He is forced to sharpen his wits to combine his studies with his work, while at the same time he starts dating Bruna, a very open and attractive new classmate, who notices him from the first week of his arrival. Joel is attracted to Bruna and begins to explore his sexuality with her, although he is still not completely over his breakup with Ona, who is still blocked and unable to tell him, but still in love with him.
